Modeling is perceived to be all glamorous but like any other industry, it too has a dark side. Besides the drugs, alcohol, and eating disorders, it can cause havoc on your self-esteem. It is best to start modeling when you are young, because as time goes on you will get better and you will have some longevity in the industry. It is also the most dangerous time as an aspiring or young model because you are probably still developing and are very impressionable. May sound fun at first but after years and years of it, it can have an effect on your confidence. As you age, your body and your looks change too. If you are not prepared or have something else going on besides your looks it can affect all areas of your life.
